Being the third generation in textiles, Stuart Gans, was literally born into the industry. His grandfather opened a fabric store in NJ back in 1946. Working summers for his father, his love for textiles developed into a career path. Prior to co-founding Classical, he created Tassel Time Inc. in 2001 and really began his focus on trimmings and decorative hardware. |

Leyla Gans began as a student of the Arts, graduating the Art Institute Ft. Lauderdale with a degree in photography. She has used her creative talents towards creating unique fashion forward trimmings. |

In joining Classical Elements in 2007, Steve brings with him over 30 years of extensive experience in decorative trimmings, hardware and textiles. He has a wide range of expertise in developing strong customer relationships within the industry. Previously he worked for Schumacher and Conso. |

Based in New York, Jana launched the successful Home Division of Gelberg Braid and served as the Creative Director from 1997 - 2006. She is currently serving as President Elect of WithIt, (Women in the Home Furnishings Industries Today). |
